DJ Hell, also known as Hell, is a German Techno, House, and Electroclash DJ and an internationally active producer and publisher of electronic music. Hell is the founder and owner of International Deejay Gigolo Records, a German label for electronic music based in Berlin.
He just released a new album MEESE x HELL – HAB KEINE ANGST, HAB KEINE ANGST, ICH BIN DEINE ANGST
(Don't fear, don't fear, I'm your fear) wher he teamed up with Jonathan Meese, a visual artist. Being a huge fan of his work, Hell asked Meese to design the album cover for 'House Music Box', one let to another. They arranged 3 experimental music sessions in 2019. The sessions, two of them together with Meese's 91-year-old mother Brigitte - took place in the Trixx studio on Berlin's Moritzplatz. Meese associated freestyle over beats and loops from Hell. He sang, spoke or whispered his improvised lyrics.
