Techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson AKA the Elevator, who was diagnosed with COVID 19 earlier this month, is recovering well. Kevin performed a one hour mix for Beatport showcasing a mix of Detroit classics and upcoming releases on KMS from the likes of Kenny Larkin and Blake Baxter besides announcing his 'I can't believe' co-production with Todd Terry.
His deejay mix is dedicated to Mike Huckaby who passed away in Detroit friday April 24th after a lengthy hospitalization following a stroke. Huckaby, who died at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak at the age of 54, also tested positive for COVID-19 while there.
