From his earliest age, Emmanuel Taron (DJ Flappy) is passionate by club music, disco, house music, and then techno, from its Detroit roots to its actual form.
About 80 miles further , Enola spend his childhood nourishing his fascination for the 7th art, thanks to the masterpieces of Michael Cimino, Scorcese, Spielberg, Coppola, Cameron, Billy Wilder and his strong pleasure to hear the music of Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Bronskie Beat !!! The hazard of university life wanted them to meet at Besancon in 1997. Maybe thanks to the deep tediousness inspired by their law study they start to buy their first machine in 2000 thanks to numerous little jobs. One year later they faced a pretty home studio of whom they start little by little to learn the use. Apart this learning our two DJs participate to the organization of many event in France and performed their first live act for more than 2000 ravers at "Checkpoint 01" with Vitalic, Manu le Malin , DJ Tonio, and many mores.
Parallely and from 1997 the NOIRDEGOUT had participated to the creation of Radio Campus Besancon 102.4 FM and work for it as electronic music provider and DJs for the Thursday show called Flappyland. This show often goes out of the radio and it s called the BZAK IS BURNING parties. At the beginning of 2002 DJ Flappy goes into exile in Montreal/Canada to work for Les Productions Ray Junior (a big French Canadian rave promoter), and play as a DJ in many big events all over Quebec. At the mean time, Enola deeper it s knowledge of machines and music production. At the end of august 2002 Flappy is coming back from Canada and NOIRDEGOUT begin a long work time on many common tracks.
After playing as a live act or DJs in many important events in Canada, Czech Republic and France during 3 years NOIRDEGOUT create his own label called NO FEAR RECORDS on December 2005. The first release on this label is an EP made by NOIRDEGOUT themselves and called FIRST ASSAULT EP . Great surprise, this records wasRECORDS OF THE MONTH" on French music magazine "TRAX"! (and remixed by famous French producer SCAN X), but was also NUMBER ONE ON DAVE CLARKE'S PLAYLIST , played by Laurent Garnier, Fabrice Lig, Vince Watson, Paul Nazca... !!! The SECOND SHOT EP , second record of the duet is also a success, and, as the "first assault", this record is NUMBER 1 ON DAVE CLARKE'S PLAYLIST with the track "Consumed" but also number 7 in this chart with the track "Sharks Bay" !!! The THIRD WAY EP will be launched from No Fear records soon, it will be as usual a ravy EP with punchy techno , but also melodic and emotional tracks.
The NOIRDEGOUT releases, Live-act , and DJ set are a mix of many influences like Detroit techno (Kenny Larkin, Underground Resistance, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson & Derrick May), Electro (Anthony Rother, Arpanet ), German techno (Heiko Laux, Johaneis Heil, Beroshima) ,and of course the French techno sounds of Laurent Garnier , Vitalic, The hacker and many mores!!!
