Felix Stallings, aka Felix Da Housecat is evidently among the most established DJs in the House music scene. With his first record signed in 1992 on Strictly Rythm by Acid House pioneer DJ Pierre, Felix definitely can have a say on what will be the future trends in the electronic music scene.
Apart from showcasing with his Felix Da Housecat moniker, Mr Stallings also has another alter ego, Aphrohead. The alias was born back in 1993 when the Chicago producer was looking for another moniker to release darker Techno tunes. From that period Mr. Stallings has released several anthems under the Aphrohead moniker such as “In The Dark We Live”, “Thee Lite” and more recently “Grown Man Cry” released on Crosstown Rebels to celebrate the 21st anniversary of his first release under the Aphrohead moniker.
Well Felix Da Housecat just announced today a grand return of Aphrohead on one of the most established record labels around the globe: Crosstown Rebels. And with “Let’s Prance” Felix wants to show the world that he can still rock dance-floors worldwide with his darker Techno moods.
With remixes by some of his most established DJ peers such as Art Department & BLUD, Radio Slave & Thomas Gandey and Christopher Trücher “Let’s Prance” announces a timeless LP that is going to mark Aprohead‘s grand return on the underground scene !
