Atal Music proudly presents ‘Choice Cuts’ its first label compilation mixed and selected by Alton Miller. Launched in 2003, Atal Music has built a rich and interesting catalogue which includes singles and/or albums from the likes of Ron Trent, Chez Damier, Jay ‘Sinister’ Séalee, Hanna Haïs, La Jet Set and the recently released ‘Prelude to a Motion’ EP by Alton Miller & Boddhi Satva.
From 1989 to present Alton has toured all over the world. His intimate connection with the drums and African influenced rhythms reflect his DJ sets that move people physically and emotionally.

BIOGRAPHY
It was once said that art is an expression of life. The way in which we choose to view it, hear it, dance it, speak it and write about it is the passion that drives an artist to create.
Alton comes to the world painting a musical canvas. Molded, shaped and reared on Stevie Wonder, Santana, Parliament Funkadelic and the Philadelphia sound he grew to be an avid clubber.
On a frenzied tour of clubs in North America Alton began honing his skills under the electrifying energies of Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan and Timmy Regisford. Alton, along with friends, set out to recreate the energy they experienced in the clubs and opened the world renowned dance club The Music Institute. The Music Institute was one of the epicenters of the underground House movement where Alton and Chez Damier shared residency on Saturday nights helping to create the musical volcano that erupted worldwide in 1988.
