Syke'n'Sugarstarr "Get Up"Will be out in about 3 weeks incl. a massive Remix-Package.
Last weekend the guys played it for the first time at the Freedom Music Festival in Russia.And not to forget to mention that Spinnin' Rec. has finally picked the recent S'n'S single"Like That Sound" (ft. Jay Sebag) to bring it out again in a big big way with a hugeremix-package.

Syke 'N' Sugarstarr feat. Cosmo Klein - No Satisfaction
After a massive 2010 with lots of hot releases and gigs Syke'n'Sugarstarr start this year with another Dancefloor-Smasher called "Like That Sound" (feat. Jay Sebag, the singer ofMartin Solveig's "Rockin' Music", "Rejection", "C'est La Vie", "Something Better".) out on their own imprint Do The Hip! Rec., Pool-E-Music (FR) and Soul Candi (SA). Another release by Syke'n'Sugarstarr which caused some huge demand is their second (!) Best-Of-Longplayer called "THE WORKS 2006-2011" (SONY MUSIC) which contains, on 2 CDs, their most prominent releases and remixes from the last 5 years. Incl. Ticket 2 Ride, No Love Lost, Danz, My Belief, So Alive, ...
Syke’n’Sugarstarr are somewhat of an enigma, finely balanced between cool Housemusic and absolutely rocking remixes, pushing back the boundaries on their own label, whilst becoming in demand house-producers for several major projects since the late nineties. The result have been smashing club-hits such as “Ticket 2 Ride”, “Are You Watching Me” or “Danz”.
And even more releases on labels like Ministry Of Sound, Positiva, Universal, Subliminal, Southern Fried, etc.
One of their biggest coups out of their studios is a stunning team-up with the legendary CeCe Rogers, to re-present “No Love Lost” all over again on their 2008 version. This tune has become a worldwide anthem getting on heavy rotation on the radio and in the clubs. Not to forget their productions under the moniker SE:SA with the releases “Like This Like That” (Positiva Rec., UK) or “In my Life” (big clubhit in UK & Australia).
As well as productions Syke’n’Sugarstarr did for other artists. The biggest so far: “So Many Times” (Gadjo ft. Alexandra Prince) or the Disco Boys’ “For You”, which recently reached Platin-Status and cemented the guys’ reputation as premier producers.
With the upcoming releases Syke’n’Sugarstarr seem to be unstoppable. Their brand new single “My Belief” (in collaboration with DBN & Cosmo Klein) is currently #1 in the German Dance Charts (DDC) as well as #1 in the Bullets of the British Dance Charts (BDC).
In the pipeline and ready to be released during the WMC 2010 are more team-ups with vocalists such as Alexandra Prince, Jay Sebag and another one with Cosmo Klein.
As DJs the guys have been touring massively for the last six years. They do club-gigs and festivals all over the globe. From NYC to Sydney. From Bogota to Moscow.
From Miami back to Europe.
The most appealing aspect of Syke ‘n’ Sugarstarr is just how fresh they sound, both in their productions and their DJ’ing, which, as anyone who has seen them on the decks will know, is as diverse and experimental as their studio work.
The best way to describe them would probably be as musical pioneers, which, in this age of copyists and covers merchants, is exactly what the world needs right now.
