Spankox, aka Agostino Carollo, is an Italian Artist, Producer, Composer and DJ.
Ago Carollo Spankox (also know as Spankox, Ago, Eyes Cream, X-Treme) has been said to be variously a “secret agent, Italian stallion, fashion model, limo driver, photographer, painter and poet”. Despite the big fuss that constantly ensues over this internationally man of mystery, it turns out that Ago Carollo Spankox is simply an assumed identity of Agostino Carollo, Italian composer, producer and DJ.
The legendary Ministry of Sound label and club in London chose Spankox's To The Club as anthem for their best nights and included the song in practically all their compilations released internationally between 2004 and 2006. To The Club became a smash hit worldwide, achieving the rare status of "club classic" of the international dance and house scene.
The song was entirely written and produced by the man behind the Spankox moniker, Agostino Carollo. He is also know for his creations under other monikers like Eyes Cream (Fly Away was a #1 Billboard hit in the USA), Ago (Put On Your Red Shoes and Tell Me Where You Are) and X-Treme (That’s The Way, Love Song). In 2008 and 2009 the name of Spankox spread from the club scene to the rock and pop world, because his official remix of Elvis Presley's Baby Let's Play House, released by SonyBMG, reached the top of the international record sales charts.At the beginning of October 2010 Spankox’s “You Like Torero” was released by several labels and quickly became one of the hottest tracks in Spain, Israel, Turkey and in several other countries.
The track was also been released in a special version featuring the sexy vocals of the beautiful Patrizia D’Addario, the famous Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s hot date.Ago’s beautiful track “So True” has also been released in the USA by the legendary label Nervous Records and has just entered (on February 9, 2011) the Billboard USA Top 25 Dance Radio Airplay Chart.
